The Forrest Historical Group is holding a Hops Fields Discovery Day on Sunday the 14th October. Appropriately (!) we will be gathering at the Forrest Terminus Hotel between 10.30 and 11.00am for morning tea, then viewing a Film on hop growing, followed by a (set menu) reasonable priced lunch. Around 2.00pm we will go out and have a look at a hop field site. If anyone is interested in this function could you please confirm your attendance with Ken Widdowson OR if you have any photographs / knowledge of this industry in the Forrest, Yaugher, Gerangamete and Murroon areas, Ken would also welcome your input.
