Chris, this link has an information sheet from the public records office re wills. http://www.access.prov.vic.gov.au/public/PROVguides/PROVguide068/PROVguide068.jsp You do need to consult the index which is not currently online I believe but is available at some family history centres and libraries. Some records are being digitised though. The PRO used to be at laverton but has newer rooms with the national victorian archive centre, now at north melbourne. There is also a ballarat centre. There is a land titles office at laverton but the website says it does aerial photography the CBD office has historical plans. For land titles there is a website with online service but you need details of the land I believe. www.land.vic.gov.au although they do have historic info on titles I dont htink they are really geared for family history searches. mainly legal land titles info. hope it helps linda
