    3. It is not unknown for details to be incorrect on headstones and the index quoted has been transcribed directly from the headstones - could be an error there too for any number of reasons. Indeed my grandfather's dates were wrong on his headstone as an aunt inadvertantly misinformed the stone masons! The BDMs would be the most accurate and thus the cemetery data has grains of correcteness to it and need to correlate correct data using all sources I would think - the Stewarts webpage as a basis. I have just had what I thought was Henry Broderick married Catherine Kennedy/Kenefick (thinking a spelling error) with daughter Penelope, and Penelope marrying twice with 2 lots of children. Checking BDMs there was in fact 2 Henry B's marrying 2 Catherines (Kennedy AND Kenefick) and both couples having a daughter Penelope. Dates all very close.
