Hi guys, Have a mystery George Knight/s in my tree. Born in 1812. Has listed birthplace only as England ( what a helpful soul, a county would have helped). Married Jane Mc Cabe in Melbourne Australia 1850. Jane born in Ireland (no county there either ) 1835. Children to this couple all born in Geelong Australia Elizabeth 1852, Mary Ann 1853, William Alfred 1856, Elizabeth margaret 1859, Amelia Emma 1861, George James 1863, Frederick Charles 1866, Margaret Ellen 1869. Childrens names may provide clues. If anyone is missing George from England please let me know. My cynical nature (after years of research) thinks he may have left a wife and children behind in England. Also if there are any of George's descendents on the Geelong list, would be great to hear from them. I am descended from his daughter Mary Ann Regards Wendy Taylor ( Aus)
