Just to let everyone know that this Sunday is the Otway Soup Fest, Sunday June 10 at the Barwon Downs Hall run by the local Lion's Club . The Forrest History Group has been asked to provide a two page handout on the Fun Walk along the Tiger Rail line from Gerangamete to Barwon Downs. There is a shuttle bus service available from 10.30 - 3.00 to take you to the start of the Railway walk which takes about 1 hour. The bus then picks you up at the finish and brings you back to the Hall where you can buy soup & other goodies!!! Otherwise the day starts at 10.00 with stalls, BBQ, beer and wine sales and soup available from entrants. Competition for homemade soup, cakes, wines, beers, relish etc. Anything to enter?
