    3. Hi Betty, Glad you would like them too - I thought it was great when my cousin in Sydney sent them. he said to make a note of any changes you make on your PC, JUST IN CASE, though everything worked fine with me. best wishes, Gillian 1. From Windows Explorer, locate the folder, Digger. The path to mine was C:\digger 2. In Digger, locate the file Vicp.ini This stands for Vic Pioneers and is the file to initiate the program. Note there are other *.ini files for the other CDs with similar obvious abbreviations. 3. Insert the Pioneers CD. Don't let it run, but open it to view its files and folders. 4. Select the folder DATA and copy it to the digger folder in your hard drive (ie normally C as above). Don't copy just the individual files in the folder, copy the whole folder complete. Remove the CD. 5. Rename the DATA folder in digger to vicp 6. Open the vicp.ini file in digger (the .ini file, not the renamed folder) 7. Edit the last two lines to read, DBPath=C:\digger\vicp & MsgPath=C:\digger\vicp (assuming C is your hard drive) 8. Go to 'All Programs' 'Macbeth Applications' and click on 'Pioneer Index Victoria, Digger' The details should then appear as though you were running the CD 9. Repeat one by one for the other CDs, making sure each works before moving to the next. Having done it it is great. It takes up a fair bit of space on your hard drive, with five CDs, each with a max of nearly 5 Gb, although some are much smaller. If space is short, then forget it.
