Hi everyone, my greatgrandmother Hannah Virtue lived around the Geelong area. She named her son Thomas Avalon Molloy(Malloy). I have been told one of the homesteads on the Austin estate was named Avalon. Would there be any photos of it. Does any one know if I could trace if she ever worked there. It was later given to the Brotherhood of St Laurence, does this still exist. It justs seems such a funny name to be given to a baby. It was said baby Thomas was bought up in an orphanage, but lm wondering if infact he was helped by the brotherhood.
