Daryl, Here are the baptisms from St. Mary's Geelong. None of the children's births were registered. In the St. Mary's baptisms there are four children baptised their parents are: John and Bridget (Curtain/Curtin) Crohan/Crohen/Cromm the children : Francis born 1/1/1854, John born 11/12/1855 , Patrick born 13/8/1857 and Christopher born 6/4/1859. regards Dianne Hughes
Hi Dianne, Today I noticed your reply to Daryl re St Mary's Geelong baptisms. Between 1845 & 1855 my Great great grandparents John & Catherine (nee DELANEY) TANNER had a child between 1845 & 1855 which was not registered. The child died before Aug 1856. The children I already have are: John Henry b 25 May 1843 Daniel b 25 Oct 1844 James b 28 Sep 1846 Martha b 28 Sep 1846 (died before Aug 1856, no death found) William b 12 Jun 1849 Frederick b 6 Dec 1850 (G Grandfather) Catherine b 2 Oct 1852, Bendigo (died before Aug 1856 no death found) Ellen b 11 Aug 1856, Plenty Could you please check the baptism records for the additional TANNER child? Is there a register of burials for St Mary's that may contain the burials of either Martha, Catherine or the unregistered baby, please? Many thanks for your help.
