Deirdre Will need more information as to what name you are referring to. Geelong was established as a town in 1838. The 'Geelong Infirmary and Benevolent Asylum' was opened in 1952. By 1924 it was the 'Geelong and District Hospital (Kitchener Memorial [for Lord Kitchener]) when the benevolent patients were transferred to Ballarat. In 1966 it became 'The Geelong Hospital' and in 1998 it became 'Barwon Health' with the amalgamation of The Geelong Hospital, Grace McKellar Centre, Surfcoast Community Health, Geelong Comm Health and Corio Comm Health. In what capacity, what time frame etc." This could make your query much more fruitful... regards John Deirdre McDougall wrote: > Can skp please help me I am trying to find the surname of the family > involved with the Geelong hospital > Cheers > Deirdre > [email protected] > > >
