Hello Bob I have looked up notes from the late Stewart McAdam's card index of inhabitants of the Barrabool Shire, and he has the following for a Charles Foster who could be your younger Charles: Foster, Charles Waurn Ponds Children: Edward 1894, Herbert 1897, Ruby 1900. He gives as his sources the ratebook entry for 1876, the Waurn Ponds School Register, and the Poundkeeper's Register 40 1878. If this is your Charles, it should give you a later date for his possible death. Hope this is of some use. Marion
