    3. Hi all, fantastic addition to your already superb website and a family researchers dream. Many thanks to all of those who have made it possible. Like the email below, I am curious as to how to view the individual data, as in the couple of pages indexed under the "appendix to infirmary" tab. I have read the details in the "locating an entry" tab, but do not have access to either of the history centres here in the UK. Is there any access via a website where we might view the individual data, have gained the relevent record reference numbers via the infirmary index tab? thanks again, Jim Higgins UK, desendant of the Higgins/Higgans who came from Cornwall, England 1849 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Susie Zada" <szada@zades.com.au> To: <aus-vic-geelong-district@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, November 08, 2009 4:17 AM Subject: Re: [GEELONG] Geelong Hospital Reports > Hi Melissa, > > We're all human - in the excitement of finding a relevant entry, you > forgot > to read the information about the registers! > > Go back to the home page for the "Index to the Admission Books of the > Geelong Infirmary and Benevolent Asylum" and read the details there - in > particular the last sentence in red - that tells you to look at "Locating > an > Entry" which is a tab near the top right. 3. Hi Jim, The registers definitely aren't available on the web anywhere. Do you mean you don't have access to any LDS Family History Centres where you can order films? If that's the case then your best option would be to put in a (paid) Research Request to one of the local societies for them to chase the information for you. Details of various centres in the region can be found at ... http://zades.com.au/gandd/index.php/geelong/research/gdresc The Geelong Family History Group would probably be your best option - they can follow up the details at the Heritage Centre.
