Only birth in Victoria any where close was in Warrnammbool in 1857 TACOL to John and Margaret McCleod. 2 other sons registered in Warrnambool 1857-1859 to this couple. Donald John Torquil MCleod died 1947 aged 57 so born c1890 parents Donald Mc and Rachael Neale. in Purnin 1889 rego 25237 A Torquil McLeod married Margaret McLeod in Purnim in 1893 rego 3176 there are births to Niel Mcleod in the pioneer index and lots of Alexanders unfortunately. When I have more time I will have another look at the indexes and see what else I can find , regards Robyn ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robyn Sharman" <robsharman@westnet.com.au> To: <AUS-VIC-GEELONG-DISTRICT@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, December 04, 2009 6:09 PM Subject: [GEELONG] Missing McLeod brothers > > Dear All, > > My MCLEODS arrived aboard the " fever ship"Ticonderoga in 1852.
