The Australian line starts with Robert MURFITT who married Eliza JOHNSON in Cambridgeshire, Eng. They came out to Australia in 1849 settling in Warrnambool. Of course, as the years went on, the children spread out, alot staying in and around this area (including Beeac, Colac, Geelong, Corangamite, Pirron Yallock, Queenscliffe & Winchelsea, to name just a few).
