Hello Jane I have found an Ann (no E) born in 1860 at Dune? Victoria whose parents were John Burke and Jane Hulahan with the reference # being Victorian BDM # 8739 which may or may not be the right one but I guess it is worth pursuing just in case. Kind regards, Nola ________________________________ From: Jane Dart <janedart@sbcglobal.net> To: aus-vic-geelong-district@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, 27 August, 2009 9:49:16 AM Subject: Re: [GEELONG] Mt Moriac Birth, Burke Thank you so much for getting me in the correct area. I tried the correct web site and it told me there were no results. Is there anyone in the area that I can hire to do the research? I have been up to my brick wall for many, many years with the Burke family. It would be worth every dollar for someone to do some research. I don't know where to look for this kind of service. "Dune" is very likely an abbreviation of "Duneed", and the Moriac area was often described by that name. I'd say this is the right one. Marion.
