    3. I am hoping someone of you can come up with some help I need. I have a copy of a Birth Register from the District of Mount Moriac that looks like it came from fiche. (I didn't write down who sent this and unfortunately, I can't remember) It is so blurred I can't read many details. I have gone to NSW Birth records and they have no record of this. What I can read is the following: Fourteenth January 1860 (?), Anne, Girl, Father-John Burke, farmer, Galway Ireland. Can anyone tell me who to contact? Thanks, Jane Dart Burke, O'Donnell, Dwyr, Nolan California, USA

    3. Hi Jane, you're looking in the wrong state, NSW is a lot further north :-) It is Victorian records for Mt Moriac, there's an excellent pay per view site at https://online.justice.vic.gov.au/bdm/index-search?action=getHistIdxSearchCriteria I had a quick look, and there is one record resulting from that search, but you'll have to pay 99 cents to see what it is. The details are more again, but are fairly inexpensive. 3. Thank you so much for getting me in the correct area. I tried the correct web site and it told me there were no results. Is there anyone in the area that I can hire to do the research? I have been up to my brick wall for many, many years with the Burke family. It would be worth every dollar for someone to do some research. I don't know where to look for this kind of service.
