Some of the Moriac/Mt Moriac area is in the (administrative) Parish of Duneed, County Grant and for someone born in that Parish, their birth place could well be described as Duneed. Many birth places were abbreviated in indexes and Dune? is most likely Duneed Before 1864 the Mt Moriac cemetery was called the Duneed cemetery. This changed when the nearby Mount Duneed cemetery was opened. For some time afterwards, there could be confusion as to whether someone buried in the "Duneed" cemetery was in Mt Moriac or Mt Duneed ! I'd say this is the right one. Marion.
