Hi Folks, Has anyone been to the Geelong Gallery to see the Brookes' Photographic Union exhibition? It's just lovely - and free! It's open until 16th May and definitely worth a visit - yes, the photos can be seen on the State Library catalogue, but not nearly as impressive as the real thing! I have had J BROOKES and BROOKES Photographic Union on my web page for Geelong & District Photographers since I first created it, but after seeing the exhibition and reading the information provided, J BROOKES started to annoy me. I was determined to find out who J BROOKES was! Well I didn't find the answer, but I have come up with a theory that provides DIFFERENT photographers being the Brookes' Photographic Union! I'm biased but I think my evidence is more solid than that for J BROOKES.
