Dennis spent an hour or two looking at these this afternoon, The only person showing linked to john smith and sarah tunks is john edward smith when he died it lists john smith and ann tonk aged 72 in 1897 thus born about 1825 Stephen william smith died 1892 son of john and sarah ann tunks aged 55 in fitzroy sth. keep in mind death certs can be unreliable they are informed on by family who are grieving, funeral directors or doctors at times who may not know all the information and i have many many errors on ones I have found. there is a jane smith who died dau of john and caroline tuck and there are a lot of children for them at steiglits around 1870's so may be some connection or just co incidence. I did some chasing of these families over the 6 cd's and found some families. My printer has been out of commission for some time, so when I can print it out, hopefully I can sort it out, but there looks like lots of possibilities. One query and the line that begins, John Edward Smith married twice, it ends, marriage lists born bucks. - who was born in bucks? The Shinkel and Smith connection are definitely mine and I think that what you have provided me with should give me a link between Stephen William and John Edward Smith.
