    2. Merren Cliff
    3. A new subscriber to this list I would like to make contact with any one interested in or with information on this family. Henry Nathaniel ROSE was a mason. I believe he was one of the masons who built the Gabo Island lighthouse. He and his wife migrated from London in 1854/1855 to South Australia where his first two children were born. The next two children were born in Collingwood. His last six children were born in areas in the Golden Plains area being Alfred Day ROSE born 1866 Duck Ponds Jane Phoebe 2/1//1868 born 2/11/1868 Beremboke Annie ROSE born 1872 Steiglitz Henry Nathaniel ROSE born 1874 Melton Emily Mary ROSE born 1877 Durdidwarr Alexander John ROSE born 1880 Steiglitz An older son, Henry Nathaniel ROSE (b. 17/9/1856 in Adelaide and died 2/9/1871), I understand from family information may have drowned - possibly on the family property at Beremboke. The same family source suggests that Emily Mary may have died in infancy. Annie ROSE was my great grandmother. I have only just started researching this part of my family tree and look forward to any contacts or suggestions where I can get further information. Cheers Merren Parkville Victoria

    1. [GEELONG] Geelong Cemetery Microfiche Look Up
    2. Doug & Jan Oldaker
    3. Hi List, I have located a death registration in Victoria for 1985 with the place code as NGEE. I am unsure as to whether this is for Noogee or as suggested elsewhere by others, North Geelong. In order to get the location correct I will try Geelong first, so what I'd really like to know is, if anyone has the Geelong Cemetery microfiche and can possibly do a look up for me please. The name I seek is Mary Bernadette Griffith's who died 1985 at NGEE (and if possible anyone buried with her). I appreciate any assistance I can. Regards. Doug.
