Hi List Iam new at this, so I hope I get it right. I'm looking for as much imforation about my Fathers Family as I can find. His surname was Purchase. I can go back to a James Harvey Purchase born around 1826, but Idon't know where or when exactly. He married a Elizabeth Priscilla Rigought {not sure of spelling} & they had about 10 children I think. A lot of the names seem to be repeated,so I'm not sure exactly how many children they had. I do know that one of their sons was a Henry Purchase who was my ggrandfather born 1854. He married a Ruth Burden in about 1878 & they had 9 children before he died in 1898. Ruth remarried in 1901 to a Robert Sidebottom & they had a daughter Vera Sidebottom. My Grandfather was Robert Charles Purchase born 1882.He married a Laura Helen Waterson in 1908 & they had 5 children, the eldest being my father Henry William Purchase. I don;t know a lot about his siblings apart from their names & the years they were born. I'm hoping someone out theremay know ! something about any of the above Purchases. Regards Janette
