Thomas Smedes CARISON lived in Alexandra at least from 1877. I would appreciate any communication in regard to this man and his history in the town/district. I have nothing on him except he was very likely born in America, possibly New York. I have the children, but would like some reference to his own life - or books in which he may be mentioned.
