Hi Nora Elizabeth THOM (nee STEWART) is my husband's 3 x Great Aunt, his line extending from her brother Gideon STEWART. Gideon and Archibald held one or two squatting runs together around the Seymour District. At this point in time I know of 5 children: - Margaret b.1830 - Alexander b.1832 - Turnbull b.c.1835 - Jane Kyle b.1835 - Elizabeth Ann b.1842 Elizabeth died in Glen Oliphant, near Smythesdale, in 1889 and is buried in the Smythesdale Cemetery. If you are interested I would be delighted to compare notes further. I am researching Archibald Thom and his wife Elizabeth Stewart Thom. They originally settled Eildon Station. Archibald's death certificate states he is buried in Yea cemetery. Have searched all records at GSV to no avail - he just is not in Yea. Cannot locate a death record, as yet, for Elizabeth. I am trying to get all the names of their children - I have one - Jane Kyle Thom, but cannot decipher the rest on his death certificate. > Thanks for any help > > >
