Neil Jamieson came to Victoria as did his parents, William and Elizabeth. Neil married Maria Christina Brown in Kingston in 1857 and we have not been able to find information related to his arrival. Neil and Maria Christina Brown had eight children, to the best of our knowledge all born in Kingston. They were Margaret b. 1858 William b. 1861 Duncan b. 1863 Elizabeth b. 1865 Neil b. 1866 Maria Christina b. 1868 Ann b. 1870 Mary b. 1872 From the obituary of Neil Jamieson who died in Albury, it would seem that he was a very skilled blacksmith, having won prizes in international competition, including Chicago (presumably Chicago in the USA) for farming implements which he either designed or developed. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Sincere regards, Janet in Sydney
