Hi List I am looking for a John Kennedy born in the 1850's - parents were Alexander Kennedy and Ann McKinnon who were married in Victoria in 1853.. According to Ann's marriage registration of 1874, when she married James Leech/Leach(Leitch according to the registration ) Alexander died in 1858. Ann and James must have been together since late 1861 (James arrived in Victoria on the Empire of Peace) or early 1862. They had 6 children, none of their births were recorded and the only child mentioned on Ann's death registration in 1893 was John. Ann is buried in St Arnuad Victoria, where I have found various records relating to the family refer back to. James is buried in Brisbane - it was a real challenge locating him. So far information on John and his family (?) have eluded me. Can anyone help please? Lynette Brisbane, Australia
