Hi All, I am researching the family of William Thomas Young ( 1848-1903 ) and Mary Ann Cotter (1849-1933. ) They lived at Wandong and Clonbinane in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Their children were, Dan Young 1870- Elizabeth Ann Young ( Handforth ) 1876-1956 Mary Ann Young 1878-1898 Ellen Agnes Young ( Johns )1879-1914 William Young 1881-1935 Albert Henry Young 1882-1952 Catherine ( Kate ) Young ( Ryan )1884-1967 Joseph Cotter Young 1885-1938 Ambrose Young 1889-1952 Dan Young and his wife Grace ( Ward, ) and Albert Henry Young and his wife, Maude Mabel ( Brown) who were my grandparents, also lived at Broadford. Ambrose Young ( 1889-1952, ) was stationmaster at Heathcote Junction. Associated names are, Leader, Kearney, Swiffen, Williams, Hunter.
