It's too hard and time consuming for people to try and trace every possible May/Doris WRIGHT that might/might not fit the profile. The records here on Ancestry don't cover the years you require for VIC and chasing a name Australia wide (without any other connecting info) is not reasonable. You really need to have VIC BDM do a full search using her birthdate and providing whatever other information they require, so that you can try and work out one way or another what has happened. Even ask VIC BDM for a search of possible deaths of her mother in Aug 1927 (using just first name or surname and the date). Atleast then you would have some idea what is true and what is family story. The Book of Prayers which has May WRIGHT written in it. Does that have any 'clue' as to where it came from? eg. any clue if it was given to May in England or Australia or any other information?
