We need ALL the details from the certificates. You will notice that I asked, on the other thread named, Joseph Ambrose SMITH, for all the info off his death certificate. However, when you provided the info, you did not mention the names of the three children. >From Jackie... "Was this your grandfather? William Alexander Smith died Ballarat 1963 - age 78 - father unknown - mother Mary" We really need to know, who William Alexander SMITH, states as his parents, when he got married. He stated the names himself, unlike a death certificate, where the informant may have only guessed the names. Can you please LIST, the details on each of the BDM certs? Hopefully the list of deaths provided by Fryerning, are siblings to your Mary BROWN. I will have a look for their obituaries, and see if sister Mary BROWN / SMITH / FOOTE, is mentioned.
