(2) John FOOTE 1900........he died 1926 "...My great grandparents were alive in 1954 because I have a letter from them to my Mother in 1954, when they were living in Bairnsdale". Can you indicate how the substance of the letter suggests that it is from Mary and......a partner? Is this "great grandfather"........(partner of Mary) named, or only referred to? Might be useful to know who to look for. Where did John FOOTE die in 1926? Are other family members living in Bairnsdale.....Mary would be ~84 years old in 1954 so likely to have some family nearby?
