Back to baby girl WILSON in 1881. The Argus (Melbourne, Vic. : 1848 - 1957) Monday 14 November 1881 p 1: BIRTHS WILSON.-On the 5th inst, at the Governor Arthur Hotel, P.O. Place, the wife of John A. Wilson of a daughter. AND, the reply from Anne, which was interesting. Likely that Myra was the one advertised in the paper. Her birth may not have been registered until early in 1882..... I can't see a female birth registered to a father John A WILSON (or John WILSON) in Melbourne in 1881. A Myra Lamb WILSON reg. 1882 Melbourne, died 1882 South Melbourne (5 months old), parents John Alfred WILSON and Martha Brown LAMB. This death is promising: There is a death reg. for a John WILSON aged 58 at Kew, Victoria in 1922. Parents Andrew Wilson and Jane AITKEN. Can't see his birth in Victoria.
