The 18 April, 1947, funeral notice in the SMH, for Angelina Mary THOMAS (nee DAVIS), solved the mystery. Trove search words, will get that funeral notice: "Angelina Mary Thomas" Mentioned as children of Angelina's sibling (no name), were Elsie GUYER (nee MOORE), of Boomi, and her brother William MOORE, of Allawah. So, I had to find their parents, to find out who this sibling was. The sibling was (the late) Catherine DAVIS. Here is her marriage, in 1892: 556/1892 MOORE WILLIAM DAVIS CATHERINE M SYDNEY Here are the births of the two children mentioned in the 1947 funeral notice, (Elsie and William). 1496/1893 MOORE WILLIAM T WILLIAM CATHERINE W SYDNEY 8987/1897 MOORE ELSIE M WILLIAM CATHERINE W SYDNEY Elsie gets married in 1914, at Moree, so I wonder, if the MOORE family moved to the Moree area. 8711/1914 GUYER ERNEST G MOORE ELSIE M MOREE Moree Gwydir Examiner and General Advertiser, Friday 19 June 1914 p 4: .... Anglican Church yesterday morning, the 18th inst., when Miss Elsie Moore, only step daughter of Mr. Donald Rose, was married to Mr. Ernest Guyer, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Guyer, of ... Donald ROSE died in December, 1924, and then Catherine Walker DAVIS / MOORE / ROSE, remarried to Mr James RESTALL in 1926. 2120/1925 ROSE DONALD JOHN (-MCDONALD) NEWTOWN 7826/1926 RESTALL JAMES G E ROSE CATHERINE W GLEBE Catherine Walker Restall Residence: 1930 - Glebe, West Sydney, New South Wales, Australia 66 Derwent Street, waitress. They parted company by 1930. James George Ernest RESTALL, collapsed and died at Newcastle in August 1938. Have not located her death, as yet.
