My Glass family married into the Farquharson lines at Indego in Tarland. Andrew Farquharson and Jean Glass arrived in Sydney 1842. Andrew died on the voyage. They followed his brother, William Farquharson (1797) and his wife Jane Hay to Australia. William and Jane arrived here via the "Hero" in 1839. I can find Jane Farquharson/Hay dying in Victoria in 1874 but cannot locate the death of William. Ancestry trees have him dying in Tarland in 1853.
