I know there are other sites listing a George Burrell Knowles but he comes from the wrong area according to George and Annie Wicks wedding certificate. My great grandfather came from Kent in England and I have located a George Wraight Knowles in Ashford, Kent. The Wicks side is my great, great grandmothers side where she came out from Germany with her father Anton Wicks (or more likely Wichs).
