Greetings Listers I'm trying to sort out some TREWs in Victoria for a rellie in England. John Sarle TREW (born St Kitts 1838, s/o Henry TREW & Phoebe Allan SARLE) married Susanna Florence FREAME in Stawell on 14 September 1871. By checking Trove for BDM notices in The Argus, I now have a list of several children, but not all named (and may misnamed by me!). Son born on 10 Jul 1872 Daughter born cir 1874 (died 9 Jul 1884 aged 10) Daughter born 24 Jan 1876 John Trail TREW died 11 Sep 1876 (7 months - doesn't fit with above dau!) Dau born 6 Jul 1877 Dau born 1 Sep 1878 Howard Christian died 4 Aug 1881 (infant) I also have notes for Henry Freame TREW - Boer War Nominal Roll, and was author of at least 2 books. He may belong to this family. Anna Wood Maud TREW - married John William GILDEA in 1905 Other TREWs of the area who are known to be related are Lennox TREW (d.1886) and his wife Eliza - or maybe Ellen (no death notice found) and Henry Irving TREW (d 1867). As he'd like to know the cause of death in each case, he will need to purchase the Death Certiciates. How does he go about this from England, please? All assistance gratefully received. Many thanks.
