He was the son of Joseph Mawdesley (born 1816) and had a son William Horace (born 1879, Adelaide) with Florence Rose Augusta Clark (born 1860), later married Lily Cashin (born 1873) in Western Australia. Mawdesley family originated in Lancashire England. Horace / Frank (used both names) came to Australia some time in the 1880's(?) Any information regarding this family is welcome. Especially dates for arrival in Australia, location of William Horace as no death / marriage records can be found. I have information regarding the Mawdesley family in Western Australia and connections to relatives in England into the 1700's I would be willing to share. Thank you.
