Hello all, This is my first posting on the list for many years. I would like to discover the whereabouts of the Hume family in Victoria immediately after they left Tasmania on the schooner 'Jenny Lind' on 3rd January 1853 bound for Melbourne. Father was Thomas Hume, Mother, Ann and five children namely, Thomas Reynolds Hume, aged 10, Augusta Sarah Hume aged 8, John Reynolds Hume aged 6, Annie Kay Hume aged 4, and Mary Hume aged 3 years. I have the marriage, death and children facts of all but Mary who remains a mystery. She died before 1888 according to her Father's death certificate. The first three children were born at Woolwich, Kent, England, the last two at Maria Island, Tasmania. If anyone has access to the Electoral Rolls or the Censuses and is willing to help I will be very grateful. -- Ron Hume Adelaide SA
