My mother was a Johnson from Tongala. Her parents were Graham & Sheila Johnson who lived on a dairy farm on Wilson Road, Tongala. Graham's sister was Elsie, who was a spinster. They were the children of Jabez Johnson I think. And I thought Scammels were related in there somewhere too! The Opies from Clunes.....I'm not quite sure who or which one you are after? My husband is a descendant of Bennet Opie who was in Clunes but ended up in St Arnaud. He died in 1881 in St Arnaud. Bennet came to Australia apparently with his brothers Thomas & James. I am not totally clear on their where abouts sorry.
