They had three children that survived birth. Archibald b.1867,Mary agnes b. 1870,William James b.1872.Ellen died 2 Feb 1877 at Crewick Hospital and was buried at Dowling Forrest Cemetery.Archibald married for a 2nd time to Ann Peary Alexander Carnegie,7 Oct 1879,Terrible Gully, Ballarat.Their children were Jane Dunn b.1880, Ann Peary b.1882, John Alexander b.1886, Margaret Campbell b.1891 and Rachel Williamson b.1893. All born at Miners Rest.Archibald died 12 May 1901 at Glen Park,Bungaree and was buried as McDiarmid at Ballarat New Cemetery. Ann Peary Alexander(Carnegie)McDonald died at 2 Oliver St. Ballarat East on 3 May 1920 and was buried at Buninyong Cemetery.
