George Samuel Middleton, an elderly man, was indicted yesterday on a charge of stealing a sheep, the property of Mr. Bardwell, of Oberne station. The jury were unable to agree after being locked up all night, and were discharged this morn- ing. The accused was remanded. and At the Quarter Sessions to-day George Samuel Middleton was charged with stealing sheep, the pro- perty of Mr. Bardwell, of Oberne Station. The accused had been tried twice previously at Wagga, where both juries disagreed.
