They were Hyam Hart and his cousin Elizabeth Hart. Hyam was born in London date unknown, married Elizabeth Hart in the Great Synagogue of London on 23/6/1802 and died in Rosemary Lane in the east end of London 25/1/1828. Elizabeth was born about 1770 and died at 122 Rosemary Lane on 185/1848. Her parents were Lazarus/Leizer/Lizer Hart b 1743 d 20/1/1800, and Rachel Hart, maiden name unknown. She was born about 1752 and died on 17/9/1818. She was buried at Peters Court in Rosemary Lane , now called Royal Mint Road. On their death records both Lazarus and Rachel are known by the name of Birmingham. What the signigance of that is i am not sure yet. Here are Elizabeths children Lewis Louie Hart b 1803 London d 14/8/1843 Melbourne. First Jewish buriel in the Old Melbourne General Cemetry. Miriam (louisa Hart b 1805 d 19/21849 Melbourne Henry Hyam Hart b 1807 Aldgate London UK. d 14/10/1880 at Drummond St St Kilda Melbourne(my gg grandfather) Asher Hyam Hart b 1810/1811 London d 15/1/1871 London came to Australia jan 1840, returned to UK Nov 1854. Rebecca d 14/3/1840. Edward Hart b 1818 London . Arrived in Sydney from Calcutta India via Hobart on PERO in 1838. D 183/1854 Melbourne Isaac Hart b 1820 London d 19/2/1899 Collingwood Melbourne.     2. Hi, All this talk of Harts gets my curiosity juices running. I'm a Hart. My g/father was Gershon. His family in London were fishmongers, They seem to have a couple of shops. G/fathers father was Benjamin b.1851. His wife Matilda Solomon. They married in the Great Synagogue London 1875 Benjamin's father was Zalig. Benjamin brought his family to Australia 1883 [Sydney]. He then move his family to NZ approx. 1900. We, my family live in Melbourne.
