His real name was Ernest but he hated being called Ernie. My fathers real name was Kevin. He was known as Kelly and I was named after him..Kellie... We had to include Kelly in his death notice as noone knew it was him who had died when he was listed as Kevin. It's the same as people being called Harry when their names are Henry or Jack when their names are John/James.. Just happens sometimes.
