He was married 1818 in Killarney,Kerry, Ireland to Mary O'Keefe. A son was Thomas Doyle b.1823 in Ireland and d. 1902 in Uralla, NSW. Thomas was married to Anne Kelly, in 1843 in Maitland NSW.
