Turns out she was indeed a very active actress in OZ and NZ and then she eloped with a married man - a famous author..if you search the TROVE newspapers etc, for David Christie MURRAY, you will find various articles including a messy divorce..and his Will ( he died 1907 of an aneurysm)...10 years earlier the family had got very sick when the drains leaked at their home in Kensington )- they had one son, Dudley Christie b 1893- died sadly 1924 ( a motor engineer), a son Maurice C, became a journalist, a daughter Margaret C and Dora C b 1901. He left 50 quid to Alice Marion DUDLEY, spinster. By 1911, Dora was boarding in Gloucester, Dudley& Maurice were at home with Mum , now calling herself Marion Christie-Murray and a widow!
