There are some very knowledgable helpful people on that List. You should post all his trips there- someone will be able to tell you which ports he was sailing from etc- and they may even know the history of the ships...in fact I have a subscription to the Gale Newspapers - so you could post the ships and dates here and I'll have a look in the old papers....sometimes we have to go back before we can go forward.
