He immigrated from Holland via USA we believe with his brother Pieter (Peter Lockman). Peter had a store in Ballarat, Victoria till 1862 when he sold up and went to Sydney. I cannot find any more info about his Brother John Lockman (Jan Logman) from his arrival in 1856 to the birth of his first child - Jemima Lockman born 1866. He was married to Mary Ann Pilkington - but no record can be found for this. Can anypone help with more info?
