Thank you very much for replying. In the last few months, I have "found" Patricia Fitzpatrick and have been in touch with her daughter Angela also. She has been wonderful and so generous with sharing her research. Together, we've also traced Michael Francis O'Brien's brothers who went to Western Australia, that the family in Victoria had not heard of since. I haven't looked into your (Lakey) family but I know Angela has. Everyone has been so helpful and it has been an occasionally emotional journey of discovery for my husband and his brother & cousins. With the passage of time, no known photographs now exist of Michael Francis O'Brien. We have obtained only one photo of one of his brothers (Cornelius) but no others from that particular generation.
