He was in a relationship with Ethel May Burr who also used the surname Hanley though they were not married as far as army records state. They had a daughter Betty Hanley (again, unsure if a step or real daughter) she went on to marry into the Wigg family and had a son Douglas Arthur who was also in the army. Betty lived in blacktown NSW. I have contacted a Barry Wigg and am waiting on family history from him. Just hoping that any descendants read this.
