I think that someone (the death informant) must have written in the surname incorrectly on the registration form, or the doctors death certificate, has had the surname spelt incorrectly. I make that assumption, because, as you can see from the Fawkner Cemetery record, three people are buried in the same grave, all from the same family, with three variations of the surname. Where was this registered? The only birth I can find for an Annie Elizabeth Patterson is in Woolwich. This child appears to have died as there is a death entry in Woolwich for an Annie Elizabeth Patterson aged 1 in the December quarter of 1876. Is this the person you are after? I only have Florence and her son Thomas as De Cis. I have only recorded Margaret Teresa Knox as her mother in the notes box for Florence. I had a look at my Fenton names. Henry and Florence had a daughter Mary (may be Marie) and a son Frank (could be the F). Mary died in 1919, the same year she was born and Frank died in 1926 age 4. No guesses for the one without a Christian name or initial for March 7th. The only Stewarts that I have are from a completely different family sorry. Thanks for message. She is my paternal great grand aunt. Her brother immigrated out here (my grandfather). No family knowledge of her out here as far as I am aware at this time. Have worked out other family but she alludes me! Have checked all Census and coming up blanks. It's possible she was staying with family but would have hoped they would have listed her as such. It isn't the Victorian BDM registry that 'have it wrong'. It was the informant who gave the incorrect information. The index says GREE which could be either place. Indexes are simply that. You always need to seek further information ie in this case, purchase an image of the certificate. Pleased you were given such good help here.
