She married George William Godfrey Davies of Wellington NZ,and there were four chidren.Norah died in Auckland 5th August 1985.The youngest were twins, born 3 Feb 1926 in Napier, NZ. The twins were Kathleen Edith Rosalie,who lives between Australia and Scotland and my late father Douglas John Geoffrey who died 7th May 2010. I am the eldest of his 5 children.I also know Adrienne Ryan,the grandaughter of Lenna ,Born 1894, the 5th child of John Douglas Kelly.I have a photo of the kelly family taken c. 1900. That is quite complete Jocelyn! Impressive. Benjamin Arnold did indeed die in Kansas. He had three children, Thomas, John and Amelie. Amelie was handicapped. John, perhaps, committed railway suicide. Thomas was my grandmotherŽs father. We have BenjaminŽs motherŽs name as Capon but the marriage cert at Charlwood looks more like Gapon. I will take a closer look at this. Benjamin listed his birthplace as both Crawley and Charlwood. Charlwood is tiny (still) and so he may have just used Crawley when he was in London to give the city people something more to go on.. Sarah died at age 2 weeks in 1817. I had never seen the ref. for another sister Mary! Will check it out. I guess my question remains. Is there any evidence to suggest that this Australian Susannah Arnold is our Charlwood Susan Arnold (other than being about the same age, from southern England with a father named John?). John, Mary and Susan Arnold seem to vanish in the 1841 census. John and Mary reappear in Charlwood for 1851. Thanks!!!
