His grandmother's brother - Edmud Pniewski (born 16/11/1914 probably in Warsaw, in Poland) emigrated after the World War II. He was Displaced Persons who travelled to Australia on the ship 'Fairsea' departing Naples on 21 September 1949 and arriving in Melbourne 19 October 1949 with his wife Stefania (Stephanie) Pniewska (Pniewski)(born 09/06/1922 - I don't know where and I don't know her maiden family name). Edmunds' parents names were Pawel Pniewski and Wladyslawa Pniewska (maiden name Paciorek), both probably lived and were born in Warsaw (Poland). His sister Stefania Bronislawa Gubernat (maiden name Pniewska) who was my husbands grandmother was born in Warsaw, in 30/09/1906 and died 01/10/1992 in Olesno (Poland). I am looking for: 1. The place where they live (if they live) or their dates of death (if they don't live) 2. Information about their children (probably Edward John Pniewsky is their son) 3. When and where they married Also I am looking for addresses and names of people who lived in Warsaw (Poland), in 1939 and before, and whose family names were Gubernat, Pniewski and Pniewska. Thank you in advance for help. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. QLD BDM Index has 14 births to James Doolan and Selina Ellis 1862-1886 That would give Selina a childbearing history of nearly thirty years, and there should be children born 1858-1862?. Selina and James are buried at Toowong Cemetery. Selina bur. 3 Apr 1902 James bur. 11 Apr 1904 There are no parents named for either Selina or James in BDM Index A birth record for one of these children (Victoria? and QLD would give place of birth for parents. Selina is very young at marriage so the marriage certificate would be useful to see. If there are relatives around, and assuming some responsibility for her, they might be witnesses. Hi List, For the interest of descendants of JOHN & MARY KEATING, Tipperary, arrived 1850 on the ship Maitland, you might wish to add the following information to your family tree. William Joseph Gordon, son of Julia Keating, (William2. John1.) passed away 22nd July in Mirboo, Vic aged 86, former resident of Leongatha, was buried in the Gordon Family Plot at Ararat Vic. William (Bill) Gordon, son of Charles George Gordon, was raised on Macarthur Onslow's Camden Park Estate where his father was the orchid manager, following service in the Army during WW2 he married and moved to Vic where he spent the next 40 years managing large cattle properties in Victoria including Warrnambool, Shepperton, Mirboo, Kerang and Ararat. William has one living Sister, Irene aged 89yrs - 4th generation of John and Mary Keating. Many thanks Colleen Wells NSW
