There is more information there. The church record does show Edward's father was Joseph Allen Lee, his mother was Anna Draper. Joseph was a tin smith and Edward was a labourer at the time of marriage and a station overseer at the time of his death. Edward was born in 1860 and died in 1924. One of Thomas sons William is my 2 x great grandfather. One of his sons Patrick my great grand father came to New Zealand in 1908 and stayed. We know next to nothing about the family in Australia. I have found marriage records for William Holt and Catherine McNamee which have Thomas Holt as one of the witnesses and they married 2 days before Thomas and Anne Martin married. Both couples were married in co. Meath while in different locations only several miles apart. On Thomas's death record the ages given for when Thomas and Anne arrived were match Thomas and Jane. Mostly what I put in my last post but some other little details - - Usual place of residence is Boranbola, NSW and he is 25 years old. - Elizabeth's occupation is "lady" (I think that means nothing more exciting than no occupation), she is 19 years old and her parents are George Samuel Middleton and Ann Alexander. George is shown as a farmer. I have quite a bit of information on them. - Birthplace for both of them is given as just Victoria. It is Edward's death certificate that gives the birthplace as Swan Hill. The informant was his son-in-law so that may not be as accurate as I thought. Her usual place of residence is Murraguldrie - Married in the Anglican church by (or before) Gualter Soares - Witness 1. John archer. Witness 2. Annie Middleton (who I assume is Elizabeth's mother not her younger sister because of the age) All the other sections on the certificate are blank. I am trying to find the certificate I purchased many years ago from the Anglican Church in Goulburn, NSW. It says (from memory and information I have recorded) that Joseph Allen Lee is his father and he is a tinsmith, that his mother is Anna Draper and that Edward was born in Swan Hill Victoria. I believe he married Anne Martin in 1841 and shortly after sailed to Australia. He and Anne had 10 children: Patrick born abt 1843-1924 ( in Williamson) , John born 1845 (in Brighton), Elizabeth 1847 ( in Brighton), Mary in 1850, William in 1852,Thomas in 1853, Catherine in 1857, Edward 1859 (in Timor),and Michael 1859 in Bet-bet). Thomas record of death indicated his death was accident. Anne lived until 1899. Any clues or information would be gratefully received.
